As 2024 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly record-breaking year for our team. It’s been a year of growth, collaboration, and incredible achievements.
From welcoming new team members and expanding our skills to attending, speaking at, and hosting events, we’ve had plenty to celebrate.
This year has been filled with unforgettable moments, and what better way to showcase them than a month-by-month recap? So, let’s dive in and relive the highlights of 2024.
January 2024: Kicking off the year with purpose
We started the year strong with a full team strategy kick-off session. It was a fantastic opportunity to align our goals, define our focus, and set the scene for a successful year ahead. This session very much laid the foundation for everything we achieved in 2024.
February 2024: Connecting and planning
February was a whirlwind of activity as we hit the ground running. We collaborated with NICE during a jampacked sales team planning session, ensuring our objectives aligned for the months ahead.
Debbie and Stevie delivered an insightful talk at the UK Contact Centre Forum, engaging with industry professionals and sharing valuable insights.
Additionally, we strengthened our connections within the contact centre community by attending the Scottish Network Event.
March 2024: Supporting causes and sharing knowledge
March saw us kickstart our fundraising efforts for our upcoming Kiltwalk. We decided to raise funds for Beatson Cancer Charity in memory of SVL Director Peter Gough. The Beatson team supported Peter and his family, so the charity means a great deal to us as a team.
Our presence at the Communication and Technology Expo was another highlight, where Suzanne and Debbie delivered a talk on Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) for enhancing employee engagement that resonated with attendees.
Meanwhile, Lee and Div represented us at the BAPCO Annual Event, exploring the latest advancements in communication technology and building new connections.
April 2024: A month of wins and recognition
April was packed with achievements and milestones. We secured Gold Sponsorship for the upcoming NICE Interactions, an event we were eager to be a part of.
Behind the scenes, we worked with Utility Warehouse, Avios, and Ageas to host a NICE WFM and EEM Webinar, which provided valuable insights to participants. Whilst Richard and David attended the NICE EMEA Partner Summit, to gain valuable insight into the latest developments in the CX space.
The Forum Customer Strategy and Planning Conference offered another opportunity to engage with thought leaders and gain fresh perspectives.
We celebrated Anne’s incredible achievement of being awarded the Forum Hero Award, this is a true testament to her hard work and dedication.
This was also the month we completed our Kiltwalk, combining team bonding with charity fundraising. We were thrilled to raise an incredible £7417.50 in total.
May 2024: Building knowledge and partnerships
May was all about learning and levelling up. A visit from the Calabrio team allowed us to explore their newest features, keeping us at the forefront of industry innovation.
To round the month off, our team refreshed their NICE CX Partner Sales accreditations, ensuring we remained well equipped to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
June 2024: Taking the stage at NICE Interactions
June was a standout month as we attended the highly anticipated NICE Interactions Conference. Anne took part in the Choosing Your Path to The Cloud panel and Richard took to the stage to participate in a panel discussion on CX Trends Shaping the Future, both panels left a lasting impression on attendees.
NICE Interactions was an inspiring showcase of the latest advancements in CX, fueling our motivation to continue driving innovation. We were very happy to wrap the two day event up with an exclusive set from Fat Boy Slim.
July 2024: Welcoming growth
July was another busy month as we prepared to grow our team to support our sales team. We also proudly signed up to sponsor the NECCA Awards, an event that celebrates excellence within the contact centre industry.
August 2024: Team building and welcoming Erin
August was all about collaboration and strengthening our team. We hosted the NICE team for a collaborative visit, exchanging ideas and planning for future projects.
Another exciting milestone was welcoming Erin to the team, whose expertise and energy have already enriched our dynamic.
September 2024: Strengthening partnerships
In September, we focused on building stronger partnerships and collaboration. A memorable NICE team outing provided the perfect opportunity to strengthen relationships whilst getting competitive.
We also hosted a insightful partner session with Calabrio, diving into ways we can continue delivering exceptional value to our clients through collaboration and innovation.
October 2024: Innovating together
October was a proud moment for us as we hosted our very own event, Innovate Automate Outperform: The AI advantage in Newcastle.
Bringing together industry leaders to explore the future of AI and digital transformation was a key highlight of our year.
The event showcased our commitment to driving innovation and sparked exciting discussions about what’s next for the industry. We’re looking forward to hosting further events in 2025.
November 2024: Awards and achievements
November was packed with recognition and knowledge sharing. At the Forum’s Autumn Conference, we gained fresh perspectives and explored new ideas to bring into our work.
We also celebrated excellence within the industry at the NECCA Awards Night, an inspiring evening, that highlighted the impact of teamwork and innovation.
Our participation in a Calabrio webinar allowed us to share our expertise with a wider audience, and attending the Call and Contact Centre Expo provided further opportunities for our team to connect and collaborate.
December 2024: Reflecting and planning for 2025
We’re wrapping up the year with reflection and strategic planning. The entire team will come together to celebrate our achievements, reflect on our progress, and set ambitious goals for the future. It will be the perfect way to end a phenomenal year and prepare for an even more impactful 2025.
